WMC 2010

The World Mahjong Championship 2010 will take place in the Netherlands. The date(s) and the venue have been chosen: august 26 ~29  in 'NDC den Hommel' in the city of Utrecht. Utrecht is in 'the heart' of the Netherlands and is easily reachable form Amsterdam Airport; both Eindhoven Airport and Rotterdam Airport are good alternatives for international travellers.

A taskforce has been formed (Jeroen Meijer, Wil Meijer-Kal, Paul Pilgram, Chris Janssen, Marianne Croeze, Jaap Croeze, Paula Pereira Gomes en Robert Rijnders) which has started preliminary work on various issues.

More info will be made available here as we go. This includes number of players, quota per country, (additional) program, et cetera. We will be in close contact with both EMA and WMO about various issues.
